When is Unity Place open?
Unity Place is public opening hours are 7am to 10pm Monday to Sunday. Please visit the Food and Drink and Retail pages on our website for individual restaurant and vendor opening hours.
What is in Unity Place?
Unity Place supports a thriving workplace community by providing a range of amenities that enrich the working day and encourage collaboration and interaction. The building houses a range of retail units, office floors, as well as food and drink vendors in the Urban Food Market, an auditorium and flexible event spaces available to book, a Unity Sky Lounge with a rooftop terrace, internal wellness suite and arts and exhibition spaces for local community projects and exhibits.
Where is Unity Place?
Unity Place is located at the gateway to the Central Milton Keynes business district, directly across the street from Milton Keynes Central train station on Grafton Gate, at the west side of Midsummer Boulevard. The walk from the train platform to the office entrance will take you less than 5 minutes.
Security and access in Unity Place
Keeping building users and visitors safe is our main priority. There are multiple security points throughout the building, supported by CCTV and our professional security team.
Are children allowed in Unity Place?
Yes, the public spaces are all child friendly so kids can come into the public areas of the building.
Is there lost property in the building?
Yes, if you think you’ve left something in any of our public areas, speak to our security team on-site or contact us via the enquiry form here.
Is the building open at the weekend?
Yes, the building remains open during the weekend for building user access– operating hours of the food vendors and retailers may vary.
How do I find my way around?
Signposting is located around the space and on each floor. Our property and security teams are on hand to answer your questions or provide directions.
Travel
Is there public car parking?
Public car parking is available on the City Side facing V6 Grafton Gate provided by Milton Keynes Council at a premium tariff (red bays) of £2 per hour. Parking charges apply from 7am to 6pm every day, except for Christmas Day and Easter Sunday. There are 21 two-hour free parking bays (no return within 1 hour), 10 accessible parking bays and 11 parent and child bays. Please view the signage for full details. The underground car park is available for the use of building employees only.
How do I travel to Unity Place?
Unity Place can be reached by private or public transport with direct train links to and from London Euston taking less than 30 minutes. If travelling by air, the nearest airports are London Luton (26 miles) and London Heathrow (55 miles) via the M1. Unity Place is an 11-minute drive westbound off M1 Junction 14 with lots of council parking nearby and a number of underground spaces for building users.

How do I secure park my bicycle/electric bike (racks, fobs?), and how many secure rack places?
Secure cycle racks are available on site. Electric bike and scooter hire is available from the north external side of the building.
How far is Unity Place from the train station?
Unity Place is directly across the street from Milton Keynes Central train station. The walk from the platform to the station-side office entrance will take you less than 5 minutes- you can’t miss it!

Our Unity Place app brings mobile ordering to our Urban Food Market and across the other venues in the building, too. The Unity Place MK app can be downloaded on the iOS and Google Play stores.

Is the Unity Sky Lounge available for hire?
It is possible to host your event with us and our enquiry line is open for bookings for when we open our doors. Contact us through our form here and our team will come back to discuss your event requirements.
Do I have to book for Unity Sky Lounge?
The Unity Sky Lounge can accommodate walk-ins however if dining, please book to guarantee your table and avoid any wait times.

Do you do venue hire?
Yes, we have an auditorium and event spaces available to book. Visit our venue page to check out the spaces we have and make an enquiry via our contact form. Our partner x+why also offer meeting and event spaces, please visit the x+why website for more details.
What event packages do you offer?
Several, whether a glitzy reception or a product launch, we have event and meeting spaces in our state-of-the-art venue. Contact us through the enquiry form and we will be in touch within 72 hours (or sooner!) to discuss your needs.
What venue hire event spaces are available to book?
Our central Auditorium has maximum capacity of 300 in a theatre style layout. Our Event Spaces 1, 2 and 3 have a capacity of 150 per room. Event Spaces 2 and 3 can be divided into one or two with a partition wall for flexible use.

Can I access a digital guide of the building?
The ‘Getting Around’ area of our Unity Place app can help get you where you need to go. If you’re stuck, our visitor kiosks on the ground floor can help you find your way around the building, or just ask one of our team who will be more than happy to assist.
Working at Unity Place
Where can I work in Unity Place?
Public visitors can perch up in the Work Café on ground floor with comfortable seating, essential plugs and charging ports and free Wi-Fi throughout. You can use areas of the Urban Food Market can for flexible working, too. If you’re an x+why partner, you can enjoy the workspace and meeting room areas on level 2.
How do I access the Wi-Fi?
Access Unity Place Guest Wi-Fi for quick and speedy access internet access throughout the building. Open your device’s Wi-Fi settings, connect to ‘Unity Place Free Wi-Fi’, connect through your browser, then you’re up and running.
Accessibility
Is there disabled access?
Yes, Unity Place is designed to provide an inclusive and accessible for all building users regardless of disability, including employees, visitors and the general public.
Is there wheelchair access?
Yes, all routes internally and around the permitter of the building offer step fere access making the building fully accessible. All routes have a minimum of 1.5m width and powered access doors at all entrances. There are multiple lifts to access all floors of the building including the basement car park. Due to a two-tier levelling of the upper and lower ground floor a high-speed platform lift internally provides access between the upper and lower ground floor levels.
Are there accessible parking bays?
Yes, blue badge parking is available in wide bays on the East side of the underground car park, closest to the lifts providing access to the ground level reception areas to transfer to lifts accessing all floors. There will also be blue badge spaces at ground level near to the building entrance.
Where are the accessible toilets?
We have gender neutral toilet facilities on each floor including a disabled access toilet and alarm cord.
Can I bring my assistance dog into the building?
Only registered assistance dogs can be taken into the building. Water can be provided for assistance dogs where required, please ask at any of our catering outlets.
